Hello,

I can buy (cheap) a SCSI 8mm tape drive from Transitional Technology, named
TTi 8510, reference type CTS-8510.

I've searched high and low to find its characteristics without much results.
TTi seems to have foundered.

It could be a parent of the Exabyte 8500, but it does not quite look the
same , as there are additional LEDs and a LCD panel, as well as some
buttons, on the front panel.

Did anyone try this type of tape drive, what are its characteristics, etc...

I'd like to know before I buy.

Thanks
--Jean Marc
