Hi,
I plan to use Amanda with our Exabyte 221L + IBM Ultrium TD1 under Linux, Redhat 7.2. 

Is it possible to run Amanda on this hardware and use the tape changer ?

I would like to backup w32 and Mac clients.
I know there is a win32 client, and I also know that some people use Samba to do it. 
What are the pros/cons of each solution ?
Samba shares are also Netatalk shares for Mac clients. What kind of solution do I have to consider to backup my Macs ? 

Do you have any pointer that could help me beside the Amanda doc ?
