It means that the Backup/Archive client for Solaris SPARC is not shipped 
starting with Spectrum Protect 8.1. The API is still available for the 
TDPs that use it and you can still use the Backup/Archive 7.1 client for 
Solaris SPARC for years to come.

The Backup/Archive client is still shipped for Solaris x86_64 with 
Spectrum Protect 8.1.
