Hi Eric,

Installation Manager needs some space available on /opt since it is 
installed to /opt/IBM/InstallationManager. The required space on /opt 
depends on various things.

The Spectrum Protect code checks for needed space on the /opt/tivoli/tsm 
path. There was a problem at one point where it wasn't following links for 
/opt/tivoli/tsm, but that was fixed.

I recommend opening a PMR if you think everything should be ok.
