Hi Steve,

Client-side deduplication can be turned on for any API application
(such as Data Protection for Domino). There are some requirements
and restrictions. Take a look here:

Thanks,

Hi again

Has anyone heard any scuttlebutt about the availability of client side
dedup for TSM for Mail for Domino? My domino clients are growing
exponentially, and the admins like frequent selective backups because

of

the inefficiencies of rolling forward domino logs. Client side dedup
would really help here.

While we are on the subject.... can anyone provide real-life dedup
ratios for standard Domino mail data? Application databases?

Regards

Steve
