[ADSM-L] Time out! says the script?
2008-10-28 10:22:37
Is there an option for the dsmadmc administrative client to set how long
the client should wait before giving up on a response from a server?
I'm trying to automate some routine health checks of our servers, and
there are times that not getting a prompt response tells me more than
enough. However, I don't see a command line option to specify a time-out
value for how long the client should wait.
(If it matters, the script is in perl, initially running on a Windows
desktop. The TSM servers are at various levels; the Windows client is at
5.3.4.3 but could be updated if there's a relevant fix in a later level.)
Thanks,
Nick
