Hello,

We have 2 methods:
1. is the simple backup with TSm Client in thae virtual machine/
2. WE have  esx virtual machines on Netapp storage, we take snapshot (the
nettapp "know" to take it consisstencly).
    Then we backup the snapshot.
    It works very good we test it !

We are backing up ESX based virtual machines with the TSM client. We
don't use VCB to backup vmdk files. That decision was made by the ESX
admin. He uses esXpress, and is very happy with it and the technical
support there. We are not at TSM 5.5, so the 'backup vm' command is
not yet there for us. We have 30 ESX servers and about 300 virtual
machines.
