Instead of two option files, why not just assign the different data to
different magagement classes that point to different storage pools.

Aloha,

I have a dual client installation on a Win2000 server, by dual client i mean
two schedules with different option files.
On the tsm-serversite there two different nodes with the same IP for this
propose. I don't know if this is the right
solution, but i thought it might work ... which it doesn't. The resultes are ..
strange ... the connection to the server
dopes 3 time while each backup is processes. The second backup inspects the
files, but does not backup them, or only those
that have changes during the two processes. This setup is done, cause to the
backupplan, which said that we should
make a backupset of only a subset of data the normal data.

Does this in general work ?
Is there a diffrent solution to the quest, of backuping only a subset and
making a backupset out of it?

with regards

Mark Strasheim
