Hi!

I think he received an error that stated he needed to have 5.2.2.0
installed first before he tried to apply the 5.2.2.5 patch.  This is for an
AIX 5.1 server and this is for TSM extended edition.  Also, does anyone
know if you need different maintenance and patches for the extended
edition?  No one ever explained what the difference was between the basic
5.2 TSM and the 5.2 Extended Edition TSM.  Thanks again!

5.2.2 to 5.2.2.5 is a patch, but what was the error it kicked back to cause
the failure?

Hi All!

I do not install software at my site, but the individual that does tried to
go from 5.2.0.0 to 5.2.2.5 and it failed.  Does he first upgrade the server
to 5.2.2.0 and then apply the patch?  I'm assuming that this is available
off of the ftp site:
