It's in the DSM.OPT file and it's for EVERY schedule that runs to that
client, not just specific schedules. If you need a precommand to run only on
certain schedules, you should make that whole thing it's own script file and
run a action=command schedule.

If you put a pre/postschedulecmd, it will run every time you run a schedule
against that client.

Where do you define and how can you identify the preschedulecmd or
postschedulecmd for any specific schedule on client side?

Thanks,
Brian

You might also try dropping dsmc sched and letting dsmcad handle the
scheduling. That'll give you two advantages: (1) remove the operator
intervention and (2) reduces memory consumption by the TSM client on your
NetWare server. Just add a line similar to:

MANAGEDSERVICES schedule webclient

to the DSM.OPT file. Then, just load dsmcad (without loading dsmc sched).
If you receive public symbol errors when loading dsmcad, load netdb first
then dsmcad.
