You might have ACTIVE files on those tapes - ie: they havent changed since
they were put on there?

Hi to all,

I have the following backup copy groups defined:

 Policy Domain Name            BWDOMAIN

 Policy Set Name               BWPOLICYSET_DAILY

 Mgmt Class Name               BWMGMT

 Copy Group Name               STANDARD

 Versions Data Exists          4

 Versions Data Deleted         1

 Retain Extra Versions         4

 Retain Only Version           1

 Copy Mode                     MODIFIED

 Copy Serialization            SHRSTATIC

 Copy Frequency                0

 Copy Destination              3590STGPOOL

 Last Update Date/Time         2003-07-28
                               11:12:06.000000

 Last Update by                ADMIN
 (administrator)

Files are backed up onto 3590 tapes using 3494 tape library. I noticed
that
there are files onto tapes that should be expired and deleted from the
tapes.
I am running expiration process every day.

Any ideas why the expired files are keep on reside onto tapes?
