xfs acl backup Linux BAC

Dear Listers,
The 5.1. BAC client for Linux doesnt support the backup of the ACL's when
using a XFS filesystem.
My customer has a 5 TB XFS file system on SGI IRIS and wants to stick to
that FS whit thier new server NAS head runnig XFS on linux.
My first thought was to do a prescheduled command to backup the ACL's to
file and than run the incremental backup.
The command would use the unix "getfacl" command that backups ALC to file.
Would it work or would the gatfacl command last for ever on large
filesystems.
What would be the size of the ACL backup file ?
Does any body has any experience with this method ?
Or
TSM guy's could you look at XFS ACL support in the TSM BAC code :-)
Best Regards,
Koen Willems
