Jesse,
* How many clients are you running during the backup windows while
this SQL backup is running?
* Your diskpool may have filled up before it had a chance to migrate
to the tapepool while SQL running.
* Your tapepool maxscratch may need to be reset.

Subject: Server out of data storage space
Hi all,
Please help. When I run backup for our SQL Server I got a message "server
out of data storage space". My diskpool has 14 - 2GB volumes. The *.BAK
I'm trying to backup is 7GB is size. There's enough total space in the
diskpool to backup this file but, I still get the message that the server is
out of data storage space. What is actually happening here? Is the problem
because TSM won't split a file between volumes? I don't know. I have 4.2
client on a WinNT 4.0 and TSM Server 4.1 running on AIX 4.3.3.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
