     I have used use in the past, and would recommend it for the primary
tape pool.  Any other method will take much longer, and relinquish
control.
     For the copypool, I would simply start a new one in the 3494, and
backup the 3494's primary pool to a new 3494-based copypool as you
populate the 3494.  Doing move data against a copypool will be much slower
than simply making a new copy.
