I'm new to the list and thought I'd ask some of you with much experience
this question.
In the dsmerror.log on a DEC-UNIX machine I find:
04/23/00 22:01:44 PrivIncrFileSpace: Received rc=171 from
fioGetDirEntries: /usr /bin
04/23/00 22:01:44 ANS4010E Error processing '/usr': stale NFS
handle
04/23/00 22:01:54 TransErrno: Unexpected error from lstat, errno =
4
04/23/00 22:01:54 PrivIncrFileSpace: Received rc=131 from
fioGetDirEntries: /oracle/805 /iwatch
04/23/00 22:01:54 ANS1028S Internal program error. Please see
your service representative.
04/24/00 01:08:00 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'UNIX_SCHED' failed.
Return code = 4.
I'm confused by the "stale NFS handle" message. I know what it means, but
neither this computer nor the ADSM server have /usr mounted via NFS. This
just showed up yesterday for whatever reason.
Any suggestions?
