Re: Using ADSM to back-up large volumes

G'day Chris,
I have several ideas on how to improve your restore performance.
1. ADSM server on NT with a spare SCSI device like a 36GB external drive
with compression enabled.
You could use this to restore the client data (using the local client on the
ADSM server)
Connect the device to the client and voila.
2. Have a dedicated LAN for backup and connect the client to be restored to
the server via a crossover cable. (only for the large restore)
Then you could use TDP for workgroups.
I hope that helps you
Have a good day !!!
