This implementation uses the archive function to store the users
data onto Magstar MP media.  The problem is that whenever the db is queried
to return the list of files archived, e.g.

dsmc query archive /foo/bar

the ADSM cannot return any files.  The recovery log starts filling up as
the command seems to be getting processed but never completes as no matter
how large the recovery log is made it always fills up before the command
returns any sensible data.  This also results in errors when using the GUI
client and the web client.

Has anyone got any ideas on why this is happening?  Is is a database
problem?  I have tested the same code versions on another system and not
experienced the same resulsts.  The server is at v3.1.2.40
