All,

     I have a problem with my ADSM server. running 3.1.2.15 on AIX 4.2.1.

     The recovery log filled up ( actually showed 120% utilised ) then the
server crashed.

     Now when I try to restart it, it fails saying :

     ANR9999D logseg.c (493): Log space has been overcommitted ( no empty
segment found ) - base LSN=135503.0.0.
     ANR7838S Server operation terminated.

     Question. Can I extend the recovery log without the DSMSERV running to
recover.
