I just got a call from a customer who is having trouble with an ADSM
I just got a call from a customer who is having trouble with an ADSM
installation.  He has a Gateway Solo 2500 with the new 366Mhz chip.  He has
Win95 installed, and starts an ADSM backup (A full backup, since it is a new
machine).  The backup moves along for a while with no problems, and then in
the middle of a file, it will freeze, and the machine must be powered off.
We have tried 3 different versions of the client, the highest being V3.1 L6,
but all freeze.  It is not on the same file each time - it does progress
through the backup.  If they can get through the full backup, regular
incrementals seem to be ok.  The same client has 266Mhz Solo 2500s and does
not seem to have the problem.  There is no information written to the error
logs for ADSM.

At this point, we believe it to be some sort of problem with the Gateway, and
not ADSM, but I was curious if anyone else had seen this problem, or had good
experiences with the new Gateways.
