If you have different volume label ranges (non-overlapping), you can add the
volrange parameter to the checkin command:

checkin libvol 3494 search=yes volrange=abc001,abc499 stat=scratch devt=3590

ADSM only checks in volumes within the volrange, so anything outside that is
ignored, and can be checked in by the other server.  Make sure you have it
searching on a range, too - just to be safe.

That's another big point.

Library checkin is the moment when tapes will be assigned to each servers,
so the other won't see it. Operation policies will have to be set so this
kind of problems won't happen.

Thanks again. Now I can see clearly many other problems that come with this
solution and will have to be adressed.
