We also use AIT drives and are not using the client compression.
With standard mixed files from the server each tape holds between 45 and
50G.
We also created a SQL storage pool where the capacity was 75 GB.
It all depends on the type of data you backup. We are not using client
compression because backup performance is better without it. We let the
tape
drive do the compression.
