Number of database volumes.

Subject:	Number of database volumes.

We currently have 19 database "volumes" made up of a mixture of 500Mb, 1Gb
and 2Gb files totalling 13,800 Mb.

Would it be faster to consolidate into a smaller number of larger files?

Cache hit percentage is currently 99.34%.
