Hello Alan,

we have the same situation as you describe.

BUT, we will stay with adsm, we think IBM will improve it and manage the
long names!

In the mean time, a bypass will be used for our internal HelpDesk doing
restores:

they have the Netware "F" right on all files, so they can , outside of adsm,
display the correspondance between 8.3 and long names.
