Incrementals backup based on domain & include/exclude lists and use
file systems (mount points) as high level objects...
Selectives & Archives use "file specifiers" as objects... and since
you are asking specifically for this activity against these files, it
ignores the include/exclude list EXCEPT for binding the items to a
management class... So since "ARCHIVE" uses a file specifier and
EVERYTHING path and file wise is downstream of "/" (including /tmp) I
would expect a long running archive
later,
Dwight

Somebody please tell me that they have /proc in the exlcude file on their
Solaris clients... I don't on a new test client and an archive of / is
archiving everything that /proc points to?..?..?
