Hi Bob, Ann,

As per the ADSM manual  the db size can be calculated from the following :

1) Each file backed up needs about 500 or so bytes in the db (multiply by
number of versions being backed up).

2) Add another 200 - 250 bytes if you are also maintaining a Copy Stgpool.

3) Add a safety margin to this of about 10 - 15%.
