I have a chart of that bencemark. It was run using Chyenne software, and
the 3570's outperformed both the Mammoth and DLT7000 drives. The 3570's
are optimized for strat/stop, and the DLT7000 is optimized for
datastreaming. I tried DLT7000's, and am now in the process of returning
them for a 3575-L12 with four 3570-B1A drives. It's a trade-off of speed
vs. capacity. The native capicity of the 3570's are 5GB, but IBM
advertises 3:1 compression.
