I'll try to give your questions a shot, but for #1, I need some more
information - what were you doing when you received the error?

For #2, the usual problem here is that the person doing the backup does not
have supervisor rights under NT - thus the backup fails.  Check the
permissions for this user.  Does the same problem occur when you try to do a
backup under the admin id?

I'm new to ADSM administration and hopefully I can draw upon your experiences.
We run ADSM V1 on MVS.
After WIN/NT client installation (2.1.7) two users are having problems:
1) DSM.EXE abended accessing ADSM (ANS7551E) referencing a path error. Cannot
use a drive designation?
2) ADSM backup error occurred saving the registry key (ANS7643E) Contact system
admin (that would be me).
