This is true - All Novell file systems appear as "mountable", and so there is
difficulty telling the real hard drives from everything else.  ADSM can
distinguish a CD if the Novell CDROM NLM is used, but if it isn't, then the only
solution is to use a domain statement.

We ran into that same problem.  It was due to our CDROMs being
mounted by a third party vendor  (that's what I'm told)  So for our
Novell clients, we just specify what we want backed up with the
Domain statement.

Or Novell administror found that if he does not put a domain statement
in the dsm.opt file for the novell adsm client, then locally mounted
cdroms are backed up by default.

I know that this does not happen on the os/2,  mac, aix, and windows NT
clients. Is this a bug for the novell client, or "BAD"?
