Hi ADSMer,

does anybody of you can give me some advise to the following question.
We are running ADSM 2.1.0.7 on a C20 with AIX 4.1.4 with an Exabyte
EXB-480 Jukebox attached to it. This jukebox has four 8505XL tape drives.
Currently two of 12 used tape are in the state "unavailable".

  1) When does ADSM decide to put tape in the state unavailable? The
     documentation on this does not seem very clear to me on this.
  2) Is it possible to get information from one of those tape back?
     As you can see from the partial listing below one tape is 100%
     reclaimable, that's a tape which I probably would want to dispose
     (H0003). The other tape (H0006) only has 13.2% reclaimable data.
     Do I still have data on this tape which I would need in the case of
     a restore? Why is ADSM still thinking that data on this tape is
     valid? Can I get this tape back into a state "ReadOnly" or
     "Read/Write"?
   3) As I understood the information about ADSM server 2.1.0.7 it already
      includes the Disaster Recovery Manager. Were do I find documentation
      about this and what does it constitute of, i.e. are the few
      awk-script very thing to the Disaster Recovery Manger?
