You can't delete individual backups from the client or with an admin
command.  I think this is a good thing too, because otherwise, one could
never trust the integrity of the backup set.

But you can still do something to make a specific file unrecoverable.

First, optionally, move the file on the client system to another directory.
2nd, in the original directory replace the file with a small stub of junk.
3rd, do a selective backup of the stub as many times as you have 'versions'
set in the management class.  This will make any backups of the real file
unrestorable.  With the OS/2 cmdline client --
"dsmc sel c:\dir\file"

4th, change the options to stop backing up the real file.

I need to delete all ADSM backups for a specific file, but I can't find a
command that deletes backups for a single file.  Any help would be
apprectiated!  We are running MVS V2.1.03 server for an OS2 client.
