Link in my post # 2 (ignore VM comment). See if you have that registry key in a wrong format if HP OV is installed.

Also, try upgrade to 6.2.3 (not hoping much, but worth a try to check once) :)

Tariq

Tariq thanks!

HP OV is not installed the upgrade toe 6.2.3 didn't fix the issue for the windows 2008 clients

Are you triggering the backup using local account or domain account? Try with another account which is not used, if possible.

What happens when you run manual backup using dsmc?

tariq.kaifi

The backup is being triggered by our domain account. Manual backups are the same unless I exclude the system state.

thanks

kthompso - Thanks, I guess someone from the Windows Admin group is going to have to do this procedure.

Thanks

Any updates?

I am facing the same issue. I had tried all the suggestions in this thread.

Deleting adms.sys
Upgrading client to 6.2.3.0
Rebooted client.

Still no luck. Any other ideas?
