Windows Backup of Server running ADAM

All,
We have some servers running Active Directory Application Mode (Microsoft ADAM) instances and I need to know if normal TSM backups can back this up properly? Is there any Whitepaper from IBM on this? In the past, other backup solutions have recommended taking an NT backup of the server and picking that up instead of the files/registry. Anyone backing up ADAM with TSM???
