I have db2 running in an HACMP environment. Online backups to db2 work just fine on the primary node.
However, when db2 is failed over to the redundant node, online backups fail. If I try to re-register with TSM dsmapipw, I get:
Server signon failed: (137) Authentication failure!
The only fix is to have TSM adminstrator reset the password for the node.
I am exporting my variables (DSMI_LOG, DSMI_DIR, DSMI_CONFIG) the same way on each node.
The dsm.sys has one generic nodename that is used to backup both servers.
The two servers are identical.
Running AIX 6100-06 on two servers.
Running HACMP 5.5
Running V9.5
Is TSM possibly caching the MAC address from my primary node?
Thanks (in advance) for any tips you can give me to resolve this.
