which consequence or influence has the renaming of the nodename

hello,



we intend to rename several nodenames on our TSM-Server(Version 5.1). Which consequence or influence has the renaming of the nodename concerning backup and restore(filespace names) ? Or has anybody had bad experiences with renaming node names

I have never had a problem with renaming a node. This is how I transfer backup sets when clients get new machines. When you start the GUI you will see the file space names. We choose to rename them as well for organizational purposes.
