I have picked up TSM administration in my company and have been to class. I have servers that are running what the options file would call POSTSCHEDULECOMMAND=, but that option is not defined in the DSM.OPT, nor is it specified in a CLOPTSET being used by the client, and yet I can see the command being run in the DSMSCHED.log! Does anybody know where else a post-schedule command could be specified? I have searched the TSM Admin Guide, the TSM Admin Reference and the BACLIENT Guide for Windows and can not find any other place where this can be specified and yet it is happening.

Thanks for any pointers anyone can give!

The pre/postschedulecommand are set in the dsm.opt for Windows and dsm.sys for Unix or via clientoptset.

Are you running a scrip or a batch file taht start the backup?

Please post the messages that you are seeing in the dsmsched.log.

Good Luck,
Sias
