vol become unavailable and audit library not running!!!

Dear TSM experts

Anyone can help me solve "unavailable vol " problem. About 7 of my LTO3 vol turn into unavailable mode. i have tried to update vol <vol name> acc=readwrite but it will back to unavailable mode again.so i tried to move data after update to reado state but once again failed with error and vol become unavailable state again.I also tried to run audit library and i able to view the process in the queue but NO AUDIT process running even at physical library or at actlog. can anyone PLEASE HELP give me some guideline

yes i'm think same way as you but how to audit library ? from command tsm command line or from the display 3584 library menu? if from the display menu of the 3584 library which i should click? is it below steps is correct? at 3584 library display menu and i also plan to do workaround A but is it necessary ? FYI last week my vendor took out the few vol manual since it cannot be checkout. PLEASE advise.

workaround A(founded in adsm.org forum)
1- Shutdown or stop your TSM
-2 Shutdown you library
3- Boot library
4- use the audit function of your library without TSM
5- start TSM
6- audit library on TSM

4- use the audit function of your library without TSM

inventory
inventory library(choose inventory library)
inventory frame
click "yes"
 
audit library library_name checklabel=yes or barcode, do it when tsm running.
If it fails, stop tsm, reboot library start tsm - try again. Do a help audit for all the options.
 
We had a similar problem with few of our tapes and later we realised that the tapes were lying at the library's entry/exit ports.

CHECKIN LIBVOL with SEARCH=BULK option has checked in those tapes.

i managed to solve this issue with help of you all. Thank you very much.

I have stopped the TSM
Then shutdown the library

boot library again

Audit library

Bring back tsm and run audit
(audit library <library name> checkl=barcode)

after that audit the each vol using below steps

Update vol <vol name> acc=readw
Audit vol <vol name> fix=yes

Above steps managed to solve tape return to unavailable state again. Once again THANKS FOR THE CONTRIBUTIONS
