I wonder to know if someone has already tested a TSM restore for a Vmware backup, let me explain what I do
To backup a vmware server 1.x running on CentOS 5.2., all vm cannot be stopped and restarted before and after backup
I'm using the following command :
dsmc backup image / -snapshotcachesize=100 -snapshotproviderimage=linux_lvm -dynamicimage=yes
To restore I need to restore the entire backup of the disk, I don't know if there is another way to backup vm (that's can't be stopped)
and to have a valid vm after the restore.
Thanks.
