VMCTLMC disk storage pool

Hi,

I use the VMCTLMC option to control the storage pool destination for the virtual machine control files. This destination is a disk storage pool, with no migration to tape. My question is, would you recommend to make a backup from this disk storage pool to a tape regulary, and what would happen when I would lose data from the VMCTLMC disk storage pool. Can't I make a restore any more? Thank you for your answers

We have VMCTLMC stg as Primar Pool and VMCTLMC_COPY as Copy Pool. Both are on disk, Copy on Disk Storage in second Site. Once per day admin schedule: backup stg VMCTLMC VMCTLMC_COPY
