We run an AS/400 based TSM Server and are currently running V5R1M0 Tivoli Storage manager. The is a cut and paste from our web admin: ADSM Server for AS400 - Version 3, Release 1, Level 2.103.
This is, as far as I know, the most current version. On the installation CD it's listed as Version 4.2. This is what our current client level is at(4.2.1). We received the 5.2 update on it's release but there is no updated version for the AS/400. My dilema is I was told to keep the clients at the same level as the server. Can I bring our clients upto 5.2 with our server at 4.2? I doubt the 4.2 server will support the image support and other new features in 5.2 but we currently don't use these.
Anyone that can help in anyway will be greatly appreciated.
