Urgent: please help...tsm 5.2.5 client

I have TSM client v5.2.5 on RH advanced server 2.1. I was trying to start DSMCAD but it is starting with many CAD processes.
Am I doing something wrong?
someone please help me...

I beleive on early linux every thread is started as a process. This is why you see mutiple process. This should also be true when you start 'dsmc sched &'. I am not sure if its true for the linux you have. Try starting 'dsmc' and if this behaves similarly

Can you post your dsm.sys and dsm.opt file for us?
Also can you include the output of "ps -ef | grep -i dsm" on your system once you start the CAD?
