Upgrade Tivoli Client from 5.2.4 to 5.3.4

Hello,



I want to upgrade our AIX systems running 5.2.4 client software to 5.3.4. I am looking at the IBM web site and they call it Fix Packs. Is this a complete install at 5.3.4 level or

do I need to install a base level first? This is the web site I am looking at

I am also looking at the installation doc to see which filesets we need. The 5.2.4 level of tivoli we had the following filesets installed.

tivoli.tivguid 1.2.0.0 COMMITTED IBM Tivoli GUID on AIX

tivoli.tsm.books.en_US.client.htm

tivoli.tsm.books.en_US.client.pdf

tivoli.tsm.client.api.64bit

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.64bit.base

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.64bit.common

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.64bit.image

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.64bit.nas

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.64bit.web



The 5.3 doc does not list the .ba.64bit files. The doc also mentions the .api.32bit fileset

is a requisite to the .api.64bit fileset



Which filesets do I need to install with the new 5.3 looking at what I had before.

Here is what I install for my 5.3 clients on AIX:



tivoli.tivguid

tivoli.tsm.books.en_US.client

tivoli.tsm.client.api.64bit

tivoli.tsm.client.api.jfs2

tivoli.tsm.client.ba.jfs2



I normally install the 5.3.0 base-level filesets and then do an update_all to the level I want.
