At present we are running AIX 4.3 and Informix 7.3, which requires that a TSM Server version runs on the AIX server, with a shared library solution ( TSM server is W2K ). We intend upgrading AIX to 5.2 and Informix to 9.3. Can I now do away with the shared library solution, and run a normal AIX Client / Storage agent and TDP for Informix ( ? ). Any advice and input would be appreciated. At present we are on TSM 5.1.63, and Client 5.1.5.9
