I have a 2 node Exchange 2003 cluster, (3 back end supporting 2 virtual nodes) running TDP for Exchange 5.5. According to Bocada, who I have reason to believe, my 2 Exchange servers are occupying 350 TB of space. My daily backups for these boxes are about 650 GB in total and my retention is 14 days. According to my math, that doesn't figure. What gives? Are there any queries that I can run to figure out what the heck is going on here? I should be looking at about 10 TB, not 350.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Check if the backupdelete='yes'
If this parameter set to 'No' it don't allow the client to do delete to the files no matter what is in your policy .

Are you running daily fulls? Or incrementals?

I run full backups each day. Below is the policy for it.

I didn't think the backupdelete=yes had anything to do with expiration. Can you explain a little more to me about what you mean?
