unable to open the administrative console

Hi all,

Im unable to open the administrative console in the path /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/tsmdiag/dsmadmc

for which its showing the error as
" ans010e unable to open english repository dsmclientV3.cat"

where in I can able to start the dsmserv service in the path

" /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmserv "

kindly help me out..... ASAP

Hi,

Which version of TSM you are using?
have you made any recent upgradation on your client machine?
If you upgrade the client you have to delete the old directory
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/en_US first, otherwise the link can not be created.

Also make sure that all the files that are supposed to be in that package
really exist, and are in the right place.

Hi,

I could able to open the dsmadmc which is in the path "/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin"

but I'm unable to open the dsmadmc which is available in the path "/usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin"

Tivoli 5.4 is the version using now. This is actually an fresh installation .I haven't done any upgradation on this. I felt all the files are exist in the right directory.

Try to create a symbolic link in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin

cd /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin
ln -s ../../lang/en_US/
