TSM Storage Pool migration

When the TSM Storage Pool [random disk] is migrating to the next pool and clients are backing up to the storage pool.
How much time does the TSM server spend finding the files to migrate vs when the migration is not running?

I don't think that this was ever measured, or given any metric to do so.

However, one will notice 'slowness' if the disk pool is of the slow type. Data transfer in TSM is FIFO basis and tracked by the DB. Therefore, how fast depends on how fast the disk seek and access times are.
