Can somebody explain me the TSM maintainence steps in detail??

i agree with mikeymac.
i am posting IBM recommended sequence for server maintenance.
Perform server maintenance tasks in a sequence that avoids contention between the different types of processing. The server maintenance tasks are:
- Migration
- Reclamation
- Duplicate identification
- Storage pool backup
- Expiration
- Database backup
