Hi all,

I have a problem, after expire inventory starts as scheduled, the tsm server crashes immediately.

There are 4 instances installed on ports 1500-1700-1800-1900
The library manager is the tsm1500

TSM Server version on all instances is: 5.4.0.0
OS: Solaris Sparc

Strangely the expire inventory processes run without any problems on the other three instances ( 1700-1800-1900 ).
The server crash is only on the main server tsm1500.

Error log:

I found this solution for the problem:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IC53497

Had somebody the same issue?
In case of update of tsm server can somebody advice what need to be done before tsm patch?

Thanks in advance,
Zoltán

Patching should be straightforward. Just remember to backup all databases, and configurations.

Stop TSM, patch, and restart TSM.
