TSM Informix backup with On-bar

Hello,

I have a Informix 11.70 server with 2 separete databse instances

Do I need to create in folder /api/bin64 separate dsm.opt files for each instance?

dsm_inst1.opt
dsm_inst2.opt

Only 1 dsm.sys

At the end of configuration, the Informix manual says..setup tsm password

1. Go to $INFORMIXDIR/bin.
2. Run the command txbsapswd as root.

So, If the password is setup with root user, how to setup tsm password for each instance?

Guys, I have not worked with TDP for informix (ONBAR) but to have more than 1 node on same box you need to use variables. TSM_NODE1 DSM_DIR=/blah/node1, DSM_CONFIG=/blah/node1/dsm.opt etc OR you can call the option file from the CAD.
