TSM DB on EMC Extreme IO?

We are looking to move our TSM DBs onto SSD for improved performance. Our storage team has recommended placing it on an existing EMC Extreme IO box. Just checking to see if anyone has done this before and what the results were?

I would not, personally, move to SSD for TSM DB needs as 10K or 15K RPM disks are OK. Plus, it cost less to expand.
