TSM Client on FreeBSD.

We have a couple of machines with FreeBSD that needs backup. Does it exist an BSD-client?

"Yes" - where?

"No" - Which client and which hacks do I have to use to get it working?

I was thinking to do the same - in linux simulation mode.

Could server work too, say with disk stg pool only? As soon as I get bsd box I will try.

There is no supported FreeBSD client. There may have been an unsupported one in the past, I can't remember. Hound your IBM rep for one, and it just may happen. I think FreeBSD would probably be the next platform on the supported list if they were to make another client.

I ran the Linux client on NetBSD way back in the 3.7 days and it worked great. But I know that things have changed since then.
